STIGA is seeking a student or newly graduated intern for a six-month internship in our Purchasing Department located in Castelfranco Veneto. You will support the EU Purchasing team with various back office activities related to procurement processes.

The role requires strong skills in Excel and proficiency in both Italian and English. A reimbursement of €700 per month along with free access to the company canteen is included.

We are looking for a student/newly graduated to join our Purchasing Department for a six months internship in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto!

The intern will support the Purchasing EU team in several back office activities related to the purchase and procurement process of Direct materials. It’s a dynamic and challenging environment and a good platform where to start and develop a career in supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Purchasing team in updating and maintaining supplier price lists, payment terms, and delivery performance data into the system.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and closely monitor lead times to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Daily cross-check and resolve administrative issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, and invoices, ensuring smooth process efficiency.
• Act as an operational point of contact for suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipping documents, and delivery schedules.
• Support buyers in collecting, archiving, and organizing quality documentation and certificates, ensuring compliance with existing procedures and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Management Engineering or Economics students
• Any further qualification in the purchasing area is highly appreciated
• Willing to work in international, fast paced environment

KNOWLEDGE

• Good at Computer use, Windows software, Office Package, especially Excel
• Previous Knowledge of SAP management system, is preferable

LANGUAGES

• Professional working proficiency in Italian and English is needed
• A further language knowledge is appreciated
