Atlas Copco Group, Padova, Italy, is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to design components and machines, perform CFD/FEM simulations, and prepare layouts and BOMs. You will support prototypes, guide sourcing, and assist serial production startups, while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration across engineering teams.

Fluency in Italian and strong English, plus several years in manufacturing, are required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar required.
Specialization in hydraulic engineering is a plus.
At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in hydraulic design and machining or casting.
Proficient in CAD/CFX simulations.
Fluent Italian and good English, with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

Hydraulic design of components and machines.
Perform CFD and FEM simulations.
2D/3D CAD design of components, assemblies and layouts.
Support lab during development and testing of prototypes.
Create BOM (bill of materials).
Support Purchasing during sourcing.
Assist Production during startup of serial production.
Prepare project documents: layouts, spare parts, libraries for configuration system.
Check product compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with T&I and engineering teams and their Project Leaders.
Coordinate with other departments through project phases.
