Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company dedicated to advancing sustainable impact. The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) ensures suppliers meet quality standards throughout the product lifecycle and drives supplier qualification, audits, and improvement initiatives.

Based in Montecchio Maggiore, this permanent hybrid role supports NPD and cross‑functional teams to enhance supplier performance and product quality, with travel 20-25% and a focus on robust supplier relationships across

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or materials engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality or supplier quality.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Qualify, assess, and develop suppliers to meet company quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits, including system and process audits.
• Lead root cause analysis related to supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Manage high impact suppliers' quality issues by coordinating containment actions to minimize impact on production and customers.
• Identify high-risk suppliers and establish improvement plans
• Lead sampling activities and validation (PPAP) on different types of projects
• Participate in design reviews and New Product Development activities to preventively identify manufacturing risks, process limitations, and supplier capability gaps before supplier award and/or product launch
• Maintain successful relationships with supply, engineering, manufacturing, and other departments.
