Rockwell Automation is seeking a Software Test Engineer to contribute to the development and validation of FactoryTalk Optix in Verona, Italy. You will support testing across the development lifecycle, working with experienced engineers in a hybrid Verona schedule.

The role emphasizes test design, execution, automation with Python/Squish, and collaboration within an Agile team to ensure product quality and continuous integration practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
• Basic knowledge or initial experience in software testing.
• Basic programming knowledge (preferably Python).
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems.
• 1+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• English skills.

Mansioni

• Complete software testing activities, including test design, execution, and reporting.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of manual and automated tests.
• Help develop automated tests using Python or Squish.
• Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test cases.
• Monitor test execution results and report defects.
• Collaborate with global teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support CI activities by updating test cases.
• Learn and apply testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
