Rockwell Automation is seeking a Software Test Engineer to contribute to the development and validation of FactoryTalk Optix in a hybrid Verona, Italy setting. You will perform test design, execution, and reporting, and help create automated tests using Python or Squish while collaborating with global teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, basic software testing knowledge, and familiarity with Windows or Linux.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of software testing.
• Basic programming knowledge (preferably Python).
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems.

Mansioni

• Complete software testing activities, including test design, execution, and reporting.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases under guidance.
• Develop automated tests using Python or Squish.
• Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test cases.
• Monitor test execution results and report defects.
• Support CI by building/updating test cases.
• Learn and apply testing methodologies and best practices.
