Rockwell Automation is seeking a Software Test Engineer to contribute to the validation of FactoryTalk Optix in industrial environments, working with experienced engineers and reporting to the Test & Technical Project Manager. The role offers a hybrid schedule in Verona, Italy.

You will support testing across the development lifecycle, develop automated tests, and collaborate with global teams in an Agile setting. A CS degree and basic testing knowledge are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Basic knowledge or initial experience in software testing
• Basic programming knowledge (preferably Python)
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems
• 1+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum
• English skills

Mansioni

• Complete software testing activities, including test design, execution, and reporting
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manual and automated test cases under guidance
• Help develop automated tests using Python or Squish
• Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test cases
• Monitor test execution results and report software defects
• Help maintain test documentation according to team standards
• Collaborate with global teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Support continuous integration activities by building and updating test cases
• Learn and apply testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
