Job summary

Edgewing is seeking a Product Owner / Project Manager (PO/PM) to drive value delivery for a hybrid role based in Italy. You will balance product vision with structured project leadership, maintain a transparent backlog, and coordinate stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

The role includes a secondment of at least two years to Reading, a permanent Italy-based contract, and a compensation package with a 13th-month salary, performance bonus, and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate business goals into a clear product backlog and deliverable features.
• Ability to balance product vision with governance and risk management.
• Strong communication across users, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Experience enabling cross-functional collaboration across architecture, engineering, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Maximise product value by shaping a clear, user-centric vision aligned to objectives.
• Maintain a transparent, prioritised backlog reflecting strategy, stakeholder needs, and technical considerations.
• Translate goals into features, epics, and user stories with clear rationale.
• Lead project planning with governance, milestones, and alignment to programme objectives.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to protect delivery predictability.
• Act as the liaison between users, stakeholders, and delivery teams with clear communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with architecture, engineering, security, testing, and business analysis teams.
• Ensure increments meet acceptance criteria and user needs.
