Hitachi Energy in Monselice (PD) is seeking a Mechanical Design engineer for power transformers. The role focuses on 3D mechanical design of internal transformer parts, producing drawings, calculations, and participating in design reviews to ensure alignment with IEC standards.

You will identify variation requests, manage work plans and costs, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to deliver robust designs.

Competenze

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design.
• Experience in transformers is a plus.
• Good knowledge of CAD 2D/3D.
• PTC Creo Parametric; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Good knowledge of English and Italian.
• Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers.

Mansioni

• 3D design of mechanical internal parts of electrical transformers, with drawings and calculations.
• Identify variation requests to support contract changes.
• Follow work plans and cost estimates; ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments; report issues to management.
• Attend project meetings; collaborate with supply chain; review vendor docs.
