Job summary

Fondazione Telethon in Milan is seeking an IT & Data Project Manager who owns the operating model for the organization’s data and technology investments. You will partner with Data Strategist and the DPO to govern the data landscape and technology roadmap while ensuring responsible governance and strong delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in IT project or programme management with direct accountability for budget, vendors and enterprise system delivery.
• Demonstrable data governance or data management experience — catalogue, quality, ownership models, master data — in an operational capacity.
• Ability to translate business needs into specifications and procurement documents.
• Working knowledge of GDPR as applied to special categories of personal data.
• Track record of securing commitment from functions over which the role has no hierarchical authority.
• Applies PMBOK, agile or hybrid delivery methods according to project context with consistent planning and control across the portfolio.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Assess new ICT or data service requests and issue a formal opinion.
• Run the intake process translating business needs into requirements, build-or-buy options and implementation plans.
• Prepare business cases and benefit assessments to support investment prioritisation.
• Maintain the roadmap of ICT and data initiatives.
• Act as Project Manager for cross-functional ICT and data initiatives: scope, plan, budget, vendors, acceptance and go-live.
• Manage the portfolio with dependencies, risks, budget and timelines, reporting to Head of IT and leadership.
