Job summary

Dentsu invites a Junior Consumer Insight Specialist intern to join Merkle in Milan. You will learn to transform data into actionable insights, support research project implementation, data review, reporting, and storytelling for clients.

In this 6-month hybrid internship, you will contribute to quantitative and qualitative studies, assist with data collection and cleaning, extract insights, and help turn findings into client-ready narratives, under the guidance of senior researchers.

Qualifications

• University degree in Communication, Economics, or relevant studies.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; data interpretation skills.
• Storytelling skills.
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in data review, coding and reporting.
• Able to work in a team.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to consider different perspectives and propose alternative approaches to research and interpretation.
• Takes initiative in research tasks and asks thoughtful questions to add clarity.
• Approaches tasks and teamwork constructively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including questionnaire finalization and testing.
• Assist with providers management, data collection, data cleaning, coding and review, and report drafting.
• Extract first relevant insights and help Senior Researchers turn them into stories.
• Contribute to all project delivery phases to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Help unlock the power of data, delivering significant improvements in growth, efficiency, and effectiveness for clients.
