Qualifications

• Ongoing Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Academic background in Materials Science, Manufacturing Processes, or Structural/Mechanical Analysis.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Availability to carry out the internship as part of a Master’s thesis.

Responsibilities

• Develop numerical models for LPBF processes (thermal and thermo-mechanical).
• Validate simulations against experimental/reference data when available.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses of process parameters.
• Prepare a Master’s thesis report documenting activities and results.
