Wood is seeking an HVAC Ducts Designer for its Life Sciences division in Milan, Corsico office, with hybrid work up to two days per week. You will size and select HVAC components, coordinate with civil, piping, electrical teams, and support 3D model development across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a B.Sc. or Technical Diploma, experience in industrial ducts design in 3D, BIM with REVIT, and fluency in Italian and English. Travel may be required to sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• B.SC. or Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
• Proven HVAC ducts design experience.
• Experience designing ducts in industrial plants in 3D environments.
• Knowledge of BIM methodology with proficiency in REVIT.
• Capable of coordinating work with other disciplines to develop a fully coordinated 3D model.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Availability to support construction activities with short site visits.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent Italian and good English.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with HVAC engineer to ensure scope and schedule are met.
• Size and select HVAC components in line with design and material specs.
• Coordinate with civil, piping, electrical and other disciplines to develop a clash-free 3D model.
• Perform materials take-off like components list and ducts quantities evaluation.
• Support HVAC engineers on follow-up activities with contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate 3D model design carried out by Wood Execution Centre (India) ensuring budget and schedule compliance.
