Job summary

NHOA Energy is seeking a Grid Integration Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will lead grid studies, modelling and simulations for BESS integration into complex power grids across international projects.

You will collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Technical Sales and customers, ensuring accurate models and compliance with Grid Codes while advancing our technology stack and tools.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PhD in Power System Control is a strong plus.
• 6+ years in power systems, grid integration or related field.
• At least 1 year in industrial or power system consultancy projects.
• Advanced knowledge of two modelling tools: PSCAD/EMTP-RV, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or PSS/E.
• Hands-on modelling of power grids and understanding of Grid Code requirements.
• Proficiency in Python, Fortran, C or C++.
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform steady-state and dynamic analyses and control modelling of storage systems.
• Conduct grid integration studies and interconnection analyses.
• Develop power system models using PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSS/E.
• Collaborate with customers to define design, control settings and grid performance.
• Interface with utilities and system operators throughout interconnection.
• Support engineering studies including stability and harmonic analyses.
