Galileo, based in Milan with a hybrid work option, seeks a Compliance Manager to lead and evolve the company-wide compliance program. You will collaborate with Legal & Compliance, governance, and operations to implement controls and train staff across markets.

The role requires a law background with 4–6 years in compliance, strong regulatory knowledge, and fluency in Italian and English. You’ll report to the General Counsel and help drive ESG and sustainability initiatives.

Competenze

• Master degree in law; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in compliance management.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance requirements.
• Experience with developing and maintaining compliance programs and controls.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to influence stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the compliance framework.
• Monitor controls and processes; recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Conduct audits and manage remediation actions.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations and project management.
• Advise senior management on regulatory impacts and opportunities.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance training programs.
• Act as contact for shareholders, regulators and industry bodies.
• Support investigations and document findings with proper actions.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management; ESG support.
• Stay updated on new frameworks and technologies; propose innovations.
