MetaSensing BV seeks a Hardware/RF Design Engineer to design microwave transceiver modules for radar applications from P to K band. You will build high-performance RF front ends, precision analog circuits, power systems, and high-frequency PCBs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in RF/Microwave, analog, mixed signals and power electronics. Eligibility to work in Italy is required, with a full-time, 40-hour work week.

• Job purpose: Design and development of circuits, boards and RF systems for satellite and airborne radar applications

Required skills and Qualifications

• Design and development of TX/RX modules for radar systems operating from P to K band (PAs, LNAs, filters, mixers, attenuators, couplers, PLL/VCOs, frequency synthesizers)
• Design of analog circuits and power supplies (DC/DC converters, linear and switching regulators)
• Experience with transmission line design (microstrip, stripline)
• Use of circuits simulator, RF and EM tools (CST, ADS, HFSS, Sonnet)
• Ability to design multilayer PCBs and manage complex stack‑ups
• Proficiency with OrCAD, Altium Designer, and KiCad
• Execution of RF and analog tests: S‑parameters, power, linearity, noise, stability, phase,
• Advanced use of lab equipment: VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes
• Preparation of technical documentation, validation test reports, and design specifications
• Support during industrialization and environmental qualification phases
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, precision, and teamwork skills

Role Description
