Generative Bionics in Genova, Italy, is seeking a Humanoid Locomotion & Reinforcement Learning Engineer to advance locomotion and whole-body motion for our humanoid platform. You will bridge robotics, ML, and control, designing RL-based solutions from simulation to real-world deployment on physical robots.

The role focuses on building policies, sim-to-real transfer, and collaboration with mechanical, electronics, perception, controls, and AI teams to deliver robust adaptive behavior in real

Competenze

• Experience applying RL to humanoid or legged robots.
• Strong knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and contact modeling.
• Experience with simulation platforms (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim/Isaac Lab).
• Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy on real robots.

Mansioni

• Develop and train RL policies for locomotion and whole-body motion.
• Design motion generation and retargeting pipelines from data.
• Build accurate robot and contact models in simulation.
• Advance sim-to-real transfer and deployment on hardware.
• Deploy and validate policies using Python and C++.
