Lloyd Morgan China is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to take full ownership of all people-related activities at its plant in Italy. This role requires hands-on leadership of recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and employee relations to support production and maintenance teams.

You will manage union relations under CCNL guidelines, oversee wage structures and incentive schemes, and align HR processes with health and safety standards.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial plant.
  • Solid knowledge of Italy CCNL for Chemical Industry and labour relations practices.

Mansioni

  • Lead HR operations for the plant including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Serve as primary contact for trade unions; manage collective bargaining, grievances and labour disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with CCNL and Italian employment laws; implement regulatory changes.
  • Oversee job grading, wage structures, incentive schemes and overtime for production, maintenance and logistics staff.
  • Partner with plant management on workforce planning, organizational design and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster two-way communication between management and workforce.
  • Manage HR administration, payroll alignment with CCNL, and HR metrics reporting.
  • Support health & safety committees and align HR processes with safety policies.
  • Coach line managers on people management issues, disciplinary actions and performance improvement.

The plant is a strategic hub, employing a mix of skilled blue‑collar professionals.

About the Role

To strengthen local HR leadership, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to take full ownership of all people‑related activities at this site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR operations for the plant, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trade unions and employee representatives; manage collective bargaining processes, handle grievances, and resolve labour disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with the applicable CCNL (Chemical Industry) and all Italy employment laws, staying abreast of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee job grading, wage structures, incentive schemes, and overtime management for production, maintenance, and logistics personnel, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Partner with plant management on workforce planning, organisational design, and succession planning to support operational targets.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, promote a positive workplace culture, and foster effective two‑way communication between management and the workforce.
  • Manage HR administration, payroll alignment with CCNL provisions, and regular reporting on HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, training hours, etc.).
  • Support health & safety committees and ensure HR processes align with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coach and advise line managers on people management issues, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a substantial portion gained in a manufacturing / industrial plant environment.
  • Deep, hands‑on knowledge of the CCNL for the Chemical Industry and labour relations practices.
  • Proven experience managing a workforce of 60–70 employees in a plant setting.
  • Strong track record in managing union relationships, collective bargaining, and complex labour disputes in a factory environment.
  • Solid understanding of blue‑collar job classifications, wage grading, and incentive systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Ability to work on‑site full‑time and thrive in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Prior experience in the graphite, steel, heavy industry, or chemical sector is a strong plus

Required

  • Skills In-depth expertise in Italy labour law and the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Chemical Industry.

Preferred Skills

Experience in managing union relationships and collective bargaining.
