Job summary

Mytilineos is seeking a Senior HSE Lead in Milan to drive health, safety and environmental programs across the M Renewables team. You will implement management systems, ensure legal compliance, and lead training to strengthen our safety culture.

You will coordinate construction-site activities, monitor risks, and report findings while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver sustainable projects in Italy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven HSE experience in related field, preferably renewables.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

In this role you will lead HSE efforts for the M Renewables team in Milan, aligning site safety with client requirements and our bespoke safety culture. You’ll implement HSE management systems to meet legal obligations, drive training, and oversee risk management across projects. You will coordinate construction-site activities, ensure accurate reporting, and navigate local regulations with leadership. This is a chance to shape safety practices across renewables projects while partnering with cross-functional teams for sustainable delivery.

• Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Implement HSE management systems to support legal obligations and our safety culture
• Identify and deliver training needs; monitor effectiveness
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers
• Prepare site reports and manage documentation
• Manage risk management system and conduct/coordinate risk assessments
• Direct the Head Site Manager on local regulations
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor
• 5+ years proven HSE experience in related field, preferably renewables
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
