Job summary

Socomec is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist – ASPP for its Isola Vicentina site in Italy. You will join the HSE department and contribute to developing and implementing policies on health, safety, and the environment.

Working with the RSPP and HSE Manager, you will support regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives, including audits, training, and environmental data analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace or Safety Engineering
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the HSE field
• Excellent knowledge of Italian; good knowledge of English
• Good organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package; willingness to travel
• Availability to travel to other Group sites

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the management of the risk assessment process and the identification of prevention and protection measures
• Analyse accidents, near misses, and hazardous situations; prepare analyses and monitor corrective actions with the RSPP
• Draft and update procedures, instructions, and standards related to health, safety, and the environment
• Support employee information, training, and awareness on HSE topics
• Verify compliance of machinery, equipment, and systems with safety requirements
• Contribute to supplier and contractor management ensuring HSE compliance
• Assist in environmental data collection and monitoring of significant aspects at the site
