Baker Hughes seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Fixed Facilities to support health, safety and environmental compliance across industrial operations. This role engages with operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors to uphold HSE standards and drive continuous improvement, including incident investigations and KPI reporting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, fluency in Italian and English, and experience in HSE within energy or manufacturing

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Occupational Safety.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems; Internal Auditor qualification is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Relevant experience in HSE roles within industrial, manufacturing, energy, oil & gas or other complex operational environments.
• Good knowledge of Italian Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and in multidisciplinary teams; proficient in MS Office applications and HSE reporting systems.

Mansioni

• Support HSE risk management processes, including Risk Assessments and JSA/HazID activities.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, field observations and safety audits.
• Promote HSE culture and Safe to Start and Stop Work authority programs with stakeholders.
• Support contractor HSE management activities including onboarding and monitoring.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining Plant HSE Management System per standards and regulations.
• Deliver and coordinate HSE training, awareness campaigns and communications.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Collect, analyze and report HSE performance data and KPIs.
• Support internal and external HSE audits and follow-up on findings.
• Assist with environmental permitting, waste management, emissions monitoring and reporting.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response programs.
• Maintain HSE documentation and records; provide day-to-day HSE guidance.
