Prysmian Group is hiring an HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental activities at the Merlino plant and oversee the Legnano site. Based in Merlino with weekly travels, you’ll drive compliance with ISO standards, safety culture programs, and emergency planning while guiding a growing safety organization.

You’ll coordinate audits, training and risk assessments, shaping safety policies and incident investigations to protect employees and operations.

Competenze

• Fluent in English
• Degree in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• Up to minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Manager in a production environment, preferably within complex manufacturing industries.
• Certification as Responsible for the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree81/08.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, risk management, emergency response, and safety management systems, with a focus on influencing people.
• Formal safety qualifications: Experience with ISO45001/14001.
• In addition, experience with ISO50001 is an advantage.
• Internal Auditor certification is an advantage, with experience in conducting integrated audit programs.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

• Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

Mansioni

• Manage HSE at the Merlino site and supervise the Legnano site on HSE aspects with weekly travel.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ISO standards 14001/45001/50001.
• Establish and implement actions to nurture a Safety Culture Zero & Beyond.
• Communicate with management, employees, and regulatory agencies; deploy safety talks, alerts and observations.
• Ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment and PPE.
• Lead near miss and incident investigations and apply lessons learned.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify improvement areas.
• Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up on risk assessments.
• Head the emergency response organization and maintain the plan; organize training/exercises.
• Analyze and report health and safety performance metrics to management and authorities.
• Facilities: manage infrastructure and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
