Job summary

Campari Group seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead the local HSE function at the Canale factory in Italy. You will deploy global and regional safety programs, ensure compliance with Italian legislation, and drive proactive safety culture across operations.

Reporting to the Plant Director with a regional HSE interface, you will manage RSPP duties, lead audits, and coordinate safety, environmental and life-saving programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience as RSPP in a manufacturing facility
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical/scientific discipline
• Formal HSE qualifications to perform RSPP per Italian legislation
• Experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Experience interacting with regulatory authorities and external auditors
• Experience integrating HSE programs with Lean Manufacturing and TPM methodologies (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the role of the Responsible for Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) according to Legislative Decree 81/08.
• Drive HSE leadership across all levels of the organization and promote accountability and continuous improvement in safety.
• Challenge operational decisions to elevate significant HSE risks and ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for HSE interactions with regulators, auditors and insurers.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements including emissions and waste management.
• Develop and improve HSE management systems to align with corporate guidelines and legal requirements.
• Manage local certification programs (ISO 45001/ISO 14001) as required.
• Define and implement programs to achieve Local HSE targets.
• Ensure HSE systems/tools are locally implemented and used to monitor targets.
• Lead safety-related global programs and life critical safety systems implementation.
• Coordinate safety activities and ensure accident risk assessments are conducted.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure local procedures remain compliant.
• Propose and oversee safety plans, risk assessments and operating instructions.
• Plan and perform HSE audits and investigations, closing corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and organizational learning.
• Develop performance indicators for HSE and ESG reporting.
