Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Housekeeping Trainee to support the Housekeeping Manager in daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization and guest service quality in a busy Milan setting.

The role involves inspecting rooms, coordinating with partners, managing inventories and using management systems. English proficiency and Office skills are required, with a passion for hospitality and learning in an international environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Hospitality management coursework or degree is a plus.
• Good command of English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in coordinating daily operations.
• Assist with inspection of guest rooms and public areas to maintain standards.
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers for compliance with standards.
• Help manage daily operational requests and maintenance interventions.
• Monitor supplies, consumables and linen inventory.
• Assist with inventory and stock control.
• Update operational information in management systems.
• Support safety, sustainability policies and process improvements.
