Ferrari is seeking a Master student or recent graduate for an internship in the Software Engineering Department – SW Testing. You will develop MATLAB Simulink plant models for HIL simulations, optimize models for SIL/HIL environments, and assist in code generation and documentation within a team.

The role requires fluent English, strong communication, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Prior automotive or luxury sector internships are a plus.

Competenze

• Recent Master graduate or current Master student eligible for internship
• Internship or project experience in automotive or luxury sectors is preferred
• Strong analytical thinking, structured approach and attention to detail

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain MATLAB Simulink plant models for HIL simulations
• Optimize models for SIL and HIL environments
• Define modelling guidelines for plant models
• Handle versioning and configuration (Git, SVN)
• Support automatic code generation with Embedded Coder and Simulink
• Debug and analyze discrepancies between simulated and real-world behavior
• Produce proper technical documentation and ensure requirements traceability
