Siemens Healthineers in Milan area, Italy seeks a Software Installation Engineer to install and upgrade oncology information systems and IT infrastructure at customer sites. The role involves both on-site and remote work, with 50–75% travel and comprehensive training to support clinical go-lives.

You will work independently with an international support network, handling complex installations, database upgrades and practical IT deployment tasks. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable field.
• Practical knowledge of Intel-based computer architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL tools, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid IT networking knowledge.
• Hands-on with IT hardware in racks and servers.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within Italy and across EMEA/Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Perform remote and on-site software installation, upgrade and configuration activities for customer systems.
• Install, test and hand over oncology information systems and IT equipment.
• Conduct database tests and clinical deployments for radiotherapy departments (ARIA and Eclipse).
• Update software licenses and configure applications.
• Install complete IT infrastructure including servers, racks, switches and backups.
• Prepare customer sites through Active Directory and network configuration.
• Travel primarily within Italy and occasionally to EMEA/Africa.
• Complete administrative tasks and coordinate with support teams.
