Job summary

Exyte GmbH is seeking a Process Manager in Italy to optimize, standardize, and continuously improve pharmaceutical processes across projects. You will lead the Process Pharma Department, drive strategy, ensure GMP-compliant design, and mentor teams.

You will oversee cross-functional collaborations, budgeting, resource planning, and proposals, with international travel and fluent English required to support global clients and ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of process engineering experience in pharma/biotech.
• Leadership experience delivering EPC/EPCM projects.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel internationally.
• Strong GMP knowledge and international standards exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Process Pharma Department with resource planning and performance management.
• Define departmental strategy, objectives, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee design and delivery of pharmaceutical process systems and clean utilities in GMP.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of process engineering deliverables.
• Act as technical authority for pharmaceutical process engineering across project phases.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration, budgets, resources, and workload planning across multiple projects.
• Support business development, procurement, continuous improvement, and mentor teams.
