Qualifikationen

• Experience in machinery or plant engineering, ideally in food or bakery equipment.
• Experience in standardization, modularization and product optimization.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD and ERP, PDM or PLM systems.
• Entrepreneurial, cost-conscious and solution-oriented approach.
• Good command of English; Italian is required, German is an advantage.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced technical leader to lead our Mechanical Design Department in Verona.

THE ROLE

As Head of Mechanical Design you will lead the Mechanical Design Department and drive the technical development of our machinery and equipment portfolio. The focus is on “Improve & Standardize”: standardizing, modularizing and continuously improving existing machines, systems and components while preserving the flexibility and engineering capability required to develop customized solutions for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the Mechanical Design Department
• Standardize and modularize machines, assemblies and components
• Develop and optimize the existing product portfolio
• Increase the reuse of proven solutions and reduce unnecessary custom engineering
• Apply design-to-cost and value-engineering principles
• Improve manufacturability, ease of assembly and serviceability
• Ensure engineering quality, on-time delivery and technical documentation
• Work closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, Automation & Software, Project Management and Service

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical qualification or degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
• Solid experience in mechanical engineering or machine design, combined with proven leadership experience
• Experience in machinery or plant engineering, ideally in food or bakery equipment
• Hands-on experience in standardization, modularization and product optimization
• Knowledge of 3D CAD and ERP, PDM or PLM systems
• Entrepreneurial, cost-conscious and solution-oriented approach

Good command of English; Italian is required, while German is an advantage
