JD Logistics, part of JD.com, Inc., is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager for Hazardous Goods in Milan to oversee all storage, handling, and distribution of dangerous materials. You will ensure strict regulatory compliance, optimize warehouse efficiency, and drive safety standards across operations.

You will lead a skilled team, implement robust safety programs, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain seamless, compliant logistics for hazmat across borders.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Min 7-10 years of progressive warehouse management experience, with at least 5 years managing hazardous goods.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international hazmat regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA DGR, IMDG Code). Certifications in hazmat handling are highly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety programs for hazardous goods.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of high performance.

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols for hazardous materials in storage and transport.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, inventory systems, and material flow for hazardous goods.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, labeling, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of hazardous materials.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse personnel with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate across departments and external agencies to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal programs in line with environmental regulations.
• Develop and manage the department budget for safe, cost-effective operations.
• Maintain robust record-keeping for hazardous goods movements, incidents, and training.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventative measures; stay updated on hazmat regulations.
