Job summary

Belmond Splendido, a Belmond Hotel, part of LVMH, seeks a Guest Service Agent for the 2027 season. Join a luxury team delivering authentic, high‑touch service at Portofino's famed property. You will review reservations, support the Front Desk, maintain guest relationships, and handle deposits.

Fluency in Italian and English plus another language are required; MS Office skills expected. We offer seasonal contract from March 2027 to November 2027 with potential extension, staff accommodation,

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in front desk role in luxury hotels.
• Effective and punctual written and verbal communication to update colleagues and department.
• Ability to work in a team and share information and skills.

Responsibilities

• Review reservations to ensure correct insertion in the PMS system.
• Support the Front Desk in daily operations, maintaining high standards.
• Follow-up with central reservations in case of missing correspondence.
• Maintain professional relationships with Guests and Colleagues.
• Anticipate Guests' needs.
• Handle deposit and commissions payments.

For the next season 2027, we are looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our Team Splendido!

The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity. He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.

He/She will Report to the Front Office Manager.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Review reservations to make sure they are correctly inserted in the PMS system
• Support the Front Desk in the daily operations, according to the company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times;
• Follow-up with central reservations department in case of missing correspondance
• Maintain professional relationship with Guests and Colleagues;
• Anticipate Guests' needs
• Handle deposit and commisions payments

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in front desk role in luxury hotels.
• Effective and punctual written and verbal communication in order to update relevant colleagues and department.
• He/she exhibits the ability to successfully work together united within a group whilst showing respect and willing to share information and skills. He/she is willing to continuously develop him/herself.
• He/she should be accurate and precise in all duties and checks carried out. He/she demonstrates a sense of urgency and take ownership of one's tasks and responsibilities.
• He/she deals with multiple tasks and alters behaviour/priorities as changes occur and remains calm in pressurised situation.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Fluent in Italian and English. A third Language is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
