Group Chief Accounting

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for Consolidated Financial Statements and monthly reporting packages.
- Be responsible for Yearly Financial Statements of the Group Financial Statement package.
- Be in charge for the completion and circulation of the Accounting Principles and Procedures.
- Make Company Accounting reliable, auditable and careful of the risk factors and ensure the correct implementation of the Group accounting system.
- Support the creation of accounting strategies to maximize profits.
- Oversee General Ledger functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices.
- Put in place financial auditing, risk analysis and cash control ensuring a culture of compliance.
- Act as a liaison to external auditing firms, while owning primary responsibility for the Company's views on technical accounting matters.
- Collaborate with FP&A to improve reporting quality and with Tax to improve accounting treatment of Taxes.
- Coordinate the European Administrative Shared Service Center and Be the focal point for tax matters both internally and externally.
- Manage Group direct and indirect tax compliance for multiple tax jurisdictions through liaison with internal finance teams and external advisor.
- Manage relationships with Italian tax agency, supported by external advisors.
- Take responsibility for the Group Transfer Pricing policy including support to the business with implementation.
- Prepare Group IFRS tax provisions for group audit and tax forecasting.
- Review local Tax returns and verify the respect of due dates (supported by local consultant).
- Analyze and manage the government incentive system including 4.0 industry.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience in multinational or complex organizational environments is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and Group reporting processes.
- Fluency in English; a second language is considered a plus.
