Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. is seeking a Global Accounting Director to lead accounting operations across multiple international jurisdictions.

The role focuses on standardising practices, building a high-performing global team and partnering with senior leaders to enable growth. The successful candidate will own month-, quarter-, and year-end close, ensure accurate reporting, maintain balance sheet integrity, and coordinate audits across jurisdictions, in a fast-growing

Competenze

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or CPA.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience within multinational organisations.
• Proven leadership experience managing international accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and multi-country accounting environments.
• Experience managing statutory reporting, audits and financial controls across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth international environment.

Offerta

Global Accounting Leadership

• Lead and oversee accounting operations across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Drive consistency, standardisation and practices across the Group's accounting activities.
• Build, develop and lead a high-performing global accounting team.

Financial Reporting & Close

• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting across all entities.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting and statutory reporting requirements.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Maintain a strong accounting control environment across the Group.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting obligations across all jurisdictions.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

• Coordinate local cash flow planning and liquidity forecasting processes.
• Support Group cash management through accurate reporting and strong balance sheet discipline.

Business Partnership

• Partner closely with the CFO, regional finance teams and business leaders to support growth and operational excellence.
• Provide accounting expertise, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Competenze ed esperienza

The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership experience in complex multinational environments.

Requirements

Preferred

• Big Four background.
• Experience within consumer goods or international branded businesses.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.
