Opdenergy seeks a Grid Connection Engineer to support ongoing and future renewable projects in Italy. You will manage grid connection processes with operators, draft HV connection applications, and analyze technical feasibility.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering and 2–3 years of experience with HV substations, Italian grid regulations, and English proficiency. Hybrid/remote work with visits to offices in Italy is offered.

Competenze

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
HV substation construction experience.
Experience with grid works with E-distribuzione.
Knowledge of Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA).
Reading and understanding electrical diagrams and drawings.
Proficiency with electrical design software and MS Office.

Mansioni

Manage the full grid connection process with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna, etc.).
Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
Analyze technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verify feasibility.
Support development, permitting, and electrical aspects of projects.
Coordinate with legal, permitting, and project management teams.
Estimate costs and schedule interconnection works.
Support tender processes for grid interconnection and review bids.
Supervise engineering/construction activities related to grid connections.
Perform site surveys and audits during construction.
