Opdenergy, a growing renewable energy producer active in Europe, the United States and Latin America, seeks a Grid Connection Engineer to support Italy projects. You will manage the grid connection process, coordinate with Terna, e-distribuzione and local distributors, and draft HV connection applications.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, 2–3 years in electrical connections for renewables, and proficiency in Italian grid regulations.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable plants.
• Experience in HV substation construction.
• Experience with grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA).
• Strong knowledge of Italian grid regulations, Terna and local distributors.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
• Proficient in electrical design software and MS Office.
• Proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit HV grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support permitting phases focusing on electrical aspects.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule interconnection activities.
• Coordinate with designers on connection-side systems.
• Prepare tender processes for grid interconnection works.
• Evaluate offers and follow up during tendering.
• Prepare contracts to ensure works meet OPDENERGY requirements.
• Oversee engineering and construction activities with PMs and site engineers.
• Participate in commissioning phases.
• Perform site surveys and audits during construction.
