Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking an engineer to drive Grid Code compliance testing for wind farm projects. You will evaluate test data, support grid connection activities during sales and project phases, and review Nordex product capabilities to ensure compliance.

The role involves some travel to client sites (5-10%) and requires strong cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates hold an electrical engineering degree and have experience in Grid Code testing, data analysis, and international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent technical education.
• Experience with Grid Code testing for Wind Farm projects.
• Experience in data analysis and automation related to Grid Code.
• Good cross-cultural collaboration and team work across geographies.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Grid Code compliance tests for wind farm projects and document results.
• Support Grid Code compliance and grid connection during sales and project phases.
• Understand Nordex products to rate Grid Code compliance capabilities.
• Improve Grid Code compliance processes and assist with internal product specs.
• Maintain regular contact with clients' experts to discuss project-specific testing and solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with wind farm controller projects.
