DETAILS – Hospitality, Sports & Leisure manages golf assets and operations in Portugal and internationally, including Sicily. This role, based in Ragusa, Italy, focuses on supervising and coordinating golf course maintenance activities to meet playing conditions and standards.

The Greenkeeper Assistant will lead daily tasks, train the maintenance team, and ensure safe, efficient operations outdoors. Italian fluency and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Proven experience in golf course or sports field maintenance.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within operational teams.
• Knowledge and practice in operating and maintaining specialized golf course machinery.
• Techniques for preparing and maintaining greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and application of plant protection treatments.
• Ability to organize logistics, tasks, and resource management.
• Leadership and team motivation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational discipline and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors.
• Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts.
• Italian fluency is a requirement.
