DETAILS – Hospitality, Sports & Leisure manages golf courses and assets across Portugal and Sicily, including the Costa Ragusa destination. The Greenkeeper Assistant will coordinate maintenance activities, support safety and quality, and work with the Head Greenkeeper on strategic priorities.

The role requires experience in golf course maintenance, ability to lead an operations team, and readiness to work outdoors, including weekends and holidays. Training will be provided where needed.

Competenze

• Experience maintaining greens, tees, fairways and bunkers.
• Experience supervising operational teams.
• Ability to operate and maintain golf course machinery.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and plant protection treatments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; detail oriented.
• Willingness to work outdoors and on weekends/holidays.

• Plan, organize, and allocate daily work tasks and prepare staff schedules.
• Monitor task execution to ensure quality standards and deadlines.
• Operate specialized golf course machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical and operational training and guidance to the maintenance team.
• Oversee the correct use of machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, conservation, and safety.
• Collaborate with the Head Greenkeeper on strategic priorities and innovations.
• Report and address breakdowns, repairs, equipment replacement needs, or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare activity logs and reports.
• Perform operational tasks when necessary.
