Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our facility in Concordia sulla Secchia, Modena, Italy, focusing on GNSS product testing and validation. You will work with receivers, OEM boards and communication devices in a hands-on role, supporting QA and field workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Environmental/Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geosciences (or Italian Geometra diploma with surveying experience).
Practical experience operating survey-grade GNSS equipment in the field (RTK/DGNSS base and rover, GIS data collectors, total stations).
Solid understanding of core GNSS concepts, positioning methods and local CRS; testing/QA background is a plus, but GNSS field experience suffices.

Responsibilities

Verify, validate and perform R&D testing on GNSS products and related devices.
Create test reports and maintain test coverage according to product requirements.
Use automation tools to analyze results and support troubleshooting.
