Job summary

Lilly Italia is seeking a motivated and proactive Maintenance & Reliability Intern to join our Cartridges Production area at the Sesto Fiorentino site. This six-month extracurricular internship offers hands-on experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, supporting preventive maintenance on production equipment and reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Automation).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset.
• Flexibility and problem-solving attitude.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection: Gather information on maintenance types and frequencies from production systems and on-site observations.
• Technical Analysis: Study and analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and prioritization criteria for maintenance activities.
• Maintenance Optimization: Support the design and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, HSE, and Operations to align activities with safety and quality standards.
• Knowledge Development: Learn production equipment and maintenance strategies within a GMP-regulated setting.
