Burberry Tecnica in Collegno (Turin) seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist to support international trade operations and ensure customs compliance across global supply chains. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to strengthen the trade compliance framework and drive duty optimisation.

The role focuses on commodity code classification, preferential origins, OPR processes, and maintaining controls and procedures to support smooth clearance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customs and Trade Compliance within an international business environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU customs regulations, customs valuation, commodity classification, preferential origin and Incoterms.
• Practical experience managing Outward Processing Regimes and preferential origin programmes.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across business functions and external partners.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with customs data and reporting.
• Fluent Italian and a good standard of English, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Manage commodity code classification for finished goods and raw materials, ensuring accuracy and data governance.
• Lead the day-to-day administration of preferential origin programmes and identify opportunities to maximise benefits of trade agreements.
• Establish and manage Outward Processing Regime (OPR) processes with full compliance and duty relief management.
• Develop, enhance and maintain customs compliance controls, policies and SOPs.
• Partner with Logistics, Product Development, Sourcing and external stakeholders to ensure accurate customs documentation and smooth clearance activities.
• Support supply chain and business transformation initiatives by embedding customs and trade compliance requirements into new operating models.
