Job summary

Metso seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Customer Order, Production Planning and Purchasing teams at the Šiauliai site. The role centers on capacity planning, on-time order fulfillment, and continuous improvement in a global, sustainable industrial company.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering-related degree, have at least 3 years of leadership in production planning and supply chain, and are proficient with SAP and Lean methods. Strong Lithuanian and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Engineering, Technical, or Manufacturing Management fields.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in production planning and supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end order fulfillment process.
• Experience working with SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively manage KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Planning, Procurement, and Customer Service teams.
• Ensure effective production capacity planning and on-time customer order fulfillment.
• Manage and continuously improve planning, purchasing, and order fulfillment processes.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Foster strong collaboration between Production, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
• Represent Metso in international projects and collaborate with global teams.
