IMA E-COMMERCE in Italy is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Ozzano dell’Emilia. You will plan and develop sales activities, visit customers, and translate complex technical needs into compelling commercial proposals.

Requirements include a technical engineering degree, 5+ years in industrial B2B sales, fluent English, and willingness to travel internationally. German is a plus; the role reports to the Sales, Communication and Marketing team.

Competenze

• Technical educational background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales roles with significant customer-facing responsibilities.
• Experience in industrial B2B environments dealing with customized products and solutions, preferably machinery, industrial plants, or logistics systems.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.

Mansioni

• Plan and develop sales activities aimed at acquiring new customers and strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
• Conduct both commercial visits and relationship-building courtesy visits not directly focused on sales opportunities.
• Upon customer request, and in collaboration with technical colleagues, develop customized solutions that will be translated into commercial proposals.
• Prepare and negotiate technical and commercial offers with the support of the relevant Product Manager.
• Liaise with the Legal Department on contractual matters.
• Develop and expand a local sales support network within the assigned territories.
• Coordinate and, where necessary, directly manage the activities of sales agents operating within the assigned area.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Back Office, After-Sales Service, Production, and Engineering teams.
• Attend trade fairs and industry events.
