Alpinestars is looking for a skilled Technical Product Developer – Protections to join our Protections Department. You will manage end-to-end development from design through production kickoff, coordinating with Designers and Suppliers to meet quality and performance targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical product development within sporting goods, strong CAD skills (Catia/Rhinoceros), experience with CE certified safety devices, and fluency in English.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years in technical product development within Sporting Goods.
• Experience with CE certified safety devices.
• Strong knowledge of technical sportswear and materials such as plastics, thermoplastics, and composites.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with CAD tools Catia or Rhinoceros.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong teamwork and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end development of protectors from design to production kickoff.
• Collaborate with Designers to select new materials and maintain specs for quality and performance.
• Liaise with suppliers on garment amendments and 3D CAD modifications.
• Oversee product costing and tooling costing via BOMs within targets.
• Maintain Tech Chart and related technical information.
• Ensure garment fit and performance, eliminate defects during prototyping, communicate changes.
• Coordinate with Testing Team to exceed quality requirements.
• Manage 3D CAD files for feasibility analysis using Catia or Rhinoceros.
• Responsible for Production kickoff.
