Hitachi Energy seeks a Global Product Manager to lead strategy for the control and automation line within Power Conversion Solutions. You will shape the roadmap, lifecycle, and business cases, aligning with market trends and customer needs.

The role requires deep technical knowledge in power conversion, grid automation, and OT cybersecurity, plus cross‑functional collaboration across global teams and ~20% travel.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in power conversion systems and grid automation.
• Strong knowledge of RTUs, SCADA, PLCs and plant networking.
• Experience developing product strategies and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the global product roadmap for control and automation within PCS.
• Translate market and customer requirements into actionable specs for R&D.
• Build business cases for new product developments and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with international grid codes and OT cybersecurity.
