Job summary

Pharmanovia in Italy seeks an experienced Global Pricing Strategy and Southern Europe Market Access professional to lead pricing, reimbursement and market access across international markets, with emphasis on Southern Europe. This role requires strategic insight and deep knowledge of healthcare systems, HTA processes and payer dynamics.

You will develop value-based pricing, support launches, optimise payer engagement and collaborate with global and local teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in global pricing, value and access, market access, reimbursement, health economics or a related pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare function.
• Demonstrable experience developing and executing pricing and market access strategies across multiple international markets.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, payer structures, reimbursement pathways and pricing regulations in Southern European markets, particularly Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or other healthcare product launches and lifecycle management programmes.
• Strong understanding of health technology assessment, payer evidence requirements, value communication and reimbursement decision-making.
• Knowledge of European pricing and reimbursement frameworks, including external reference pricing, internal reference pricing, tendering and mandatory discount mechanisms.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority in a matrixed, international organisation.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or Greek is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global pricing strategies aligned with product value and commercial objectives.
• Lead pricing and market access strategy for Southern European markets including Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
• Provide input across the product lifecycle from development to launch and lifecycle management.
• Develop pricing corridors, target price ranges, and value-based pricing frameworks.
• Assess market access opportunities, payer requirements and affordability considerations.
• Create country-specific pricing and market access strategies and payer engagement plans.
• Collaborate with global, regional and local teams across commercial, medical, HEOR, regulatory, and finance.
• Prepare pricing recommendations, business cases and payer-facing materials.
