Job summary

MENARINI Group in Florence, Italy, seeks a senior leader for Global Manufacturing Science & Technology to drive industrialization, process optimization and technology transfer across the product lifecycle.

Reporting to the Global MS&T Lead, you will bridge R&D, manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs, guiding cross-functional teams and CMOs to deliver robust, compliant manufacturing processes with strategic insight.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Chemical/Process Engineering.
• 10–15 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, MS&T, industrialization, process engineering or technology transfer.
• Exposure to solid dosage manufacturing and other forms such as sterile products.
• Involvement in scale-up, validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in multinational networks or CMOs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess scalability and support industrialization and technology transfer activities.
• Identify CPPs, CQAs and process-related risks affecting quality and supply continuity.
• Partner with MS&T Lead and cross-functional teams to evaluate manufacturing strategies.
• Escalate technical and operational issues with data-driven analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities during industrialization and transfer across multiple sites.
• Support project planning, timelines, priorities, risks, and resource allocation.
• Investigate deviations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
