Job summary

CNS Worldwide Executive Search seeks an experienced Senior Pasta Technologist to provide technical expertise to customers worldwide. This role blends product development, process optimization, customer consulting, and troubleshooting, collaborating with R&D and commercial teams to deliver innovative pasta solutions and drive customer success.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field (Food Science / Food Technology / Process Engineering).
8–10+ years of experience in pasta manufacturing, product development, or technical service.
Strong knowledge of durum wheat, flour functionality, extrusion, and drying processes.
Experience conducting industrial-scale production trials and solving manufacturing challenges.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers during product development, trials, commissioning, and production.
Optimize pasta manufacturing processes for dry, fresh, and specialty pasta products.
Lead factory trials, troubleshoot production issues, and recommend process improvements.
Develop new formulations and applications with R&D and commercial teams.
Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
Support global sales by providing technical expertise during customer visits and presentations.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for new products and technologies.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and customer recommendations.
