Job summary

Datalogic is seeking a Global R&D Director to lead the technology strategy and product development for its Mobile Business Unit, reporting to the Business Unit GM. The role oversees a full product lifecycle from concept to launch, driving quality, cost and time-to-market goals across international teams and ODM partners.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of R&D leadership experience in international organizations.
• Expertise in mobile computing technologies and integrated hardware/software products.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for Mobile Computing.
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple sites (Italy/China/Vietnam/US).
• Manage R&D budgets, resources and external partnerships with ODMs.
