Datalogic seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to lead and strengthen the company’s global cyber security posture across IT, OT, cloud, applications, identity and compliance. You will embed security into projects, vendor management, audits and product initiatives while partnering with R&D on product security.

You will manage global cyber risk, enforce policies, and ensure business continuity across corporate and industrial environments, shaping security by design.

Competenze

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in cyber security in tech/manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading cyber security in global or multi-site organisations.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid ICT architectures (on‑premises and multi‑cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, endpoints, identity and access management, OT security and incident response.

Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer to lead and continuously strengthen Datalogic’s global cyber security posture across IT, OT, cloud, applications, identity and compliance.

Combining strategic ownership with hands-on execution, you will define security standards, policies, controls and roadmaps while embedding cyber security into projects, daily operations, vendor management, audits and product initiatives.

You will protect critical information and industrial assets, safeguard business continuity and enable secure innovation through pragmatic risk management and effective collaboration. You will also partner with our R&D teams on product cyber security initiatives, promoting security-by-design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the global cyber security roadmap, translating it into priorities, initiatives, KPIs, investments and measurable risk reduction.
• Support the Group CIO in defining the security strategy, budget and executive reporting.
• Develop and enforce global security policies, standards, procedures and hardening baselines.
• Oversee security across servers, endpoints, networks, cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead incident response governance, escalation, post-incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Oversee SOC and SIEM services, improving monitoring, detection, logging and perimeter coverage.
• Strengthen identity and privileged access management, access reviews and recertification.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Operations and R&D to enhance OT and product security, including segmentation, firewall governance and vulnerability management.
• Maintain the global cyber risk register and remediation roadmap.
• Ensure alignment with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR and other relevant requirements.
• Lead security audits, vendor risk assessments and customer security reviews.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for global IT infrastructure.
• Manage and develop the security team, collaborating across IT, Legal, Compliance, HR and Facilities.

Key Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 7 years in cyber security within software, technology or manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading cyber security in global or multi-site organisations.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid ICT architectures across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualisation, endpoint security, identity and access management, OT security and incident response.
• Experience with audits, compliance, vendor risk and security frameworks.
• Previous people-management experience.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into clear business priorities.
• Pragmatic, collaborative and outcome-oriented approach.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Base Salary (RAL): €55,000 - €70,000
