Covestro Filago is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization, drive preventive, predictive, and condition-based strategies, and sustain asset reliability at the Filago site in Italy. You will shape a safety-driven, data-enabled culture and oversee capital projects with international stakeholders.

The role requires extensive experience in process industries, strong safety and RCA skills, and fluency in Italian and English to coordinate global teams and vendors.

Competenze

• 7–10 years in maintenance or reliability engineering within process industries (Chemical, Petrochemical, or Plastics preferred).
• Experience participating in HAZOP and Process Hazard Analysis activities.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings; ATEX directives and Functional Safety (SIL/PL) valued.
• Digital mindset with SAP PM/TMM experience and interest in digitalization for asset management.
• Near-native Italian and fluent English (spoken and written).

• Define and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to ensure plant reliability and asset availability.
• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance organization with a strong safety culture.
• Develop long-term spare parts strategies and End-of-Life master plans.
• Lead capital investment projects and manage external service providers for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive reliability initiatives using RCA and promote Industry 4.0 and AI-driven maintenance.
• Partner with HSE, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure safe and compliant operations.
