Job summary

Covestro in Filago (BG) seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization, ensuring safety, reliability and budget adherence across the site.

You will design preventive, predictive and condition-based programs, manage capital projects and external contractors, and drive digital asset management with Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Collaborating with HSE, Production and Supply Chain, you will foster a culture of technical excellence and strong safety performance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of maintenance or reliability engineering experience in process industries.
• Experience participating in HAZOP and Process Hazard Analysis activities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with ATEX directives and Functional Safety (SIL/PL).
• SAP PM/TMM experience or interest in digital asset management.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate international stakeholders.
• Near-native Italian and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance to ensure plant reliability.
• Lead maintenance team through coaching and development, promoting safety.
• Develop long-term spare parts strategies and EOL master plans.
• Lead capital projects and manage external contractors for quality and cost control.
• Drive reliability improvements using RCA and promote Industry 4.0 and AI-driven maintenance.
• Collaborate with HSE, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant operations.
